After going from a new mama who couldn’t even make eye contact with her own reflection to where I am now, I felt compelled to share my journey.
Why?
- Because I know I am not the only one out there looking for a simpler way to live a healthier, happier life.
- Because I know we all have the ability inside of us to become what we dream to be, we just need to learn how.
2 years ago I was fat and fed up. Overworked, overwhelmed and unhappy. On the outside I faked it well but on the inside I was falling apart. I desperately wanted to be happier, healthier and was scared that as a new mother that this lack of confidence, self worth and unhealthy lifestyle of negative body shaming would pass to my daughter if I didn’t get it under control.
I have never been an athlete, I was never super fit in my past. I was thinner, but not because I was focused on health and fitness. So this was all so brand new to me. My past experiences in losing weight were never positive. They focused on restriction, deprivation and guilt, and because of that, they never were permanent. These past 2 years have been a journey of realization of my own self worth and strength. I have laid a foundation of healthy habits that now I feel compelled to share and pay forward. So here we are!
I am learning each day how to be a healthier and happier version of myself and want to share that with you all too. And I mean all of it. Whether it be a recipe or meal planning tips, fun toddler crafts or even my journey as an entrepreneur, my goal is to share this journey with you in the hopes that is helps you be a healthier and happier version of yourself too.
